The miniature horses are a breed pure and true, no colt horses or dwarfs; direct descendants of the Shetland, there are records for over 300 years in Europe. At first they were raised during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Europe to give them to the princes and princesses as pets, until the royal courts of Europe began to decline and the breed almost became extinct; the flocks were divided and dispersed throughout Europe and some were imported into the United States and were used to haul coal and the ore in the mines, until they also began to make popular in the U.S. as pets.  They are great friends of the children if they are educated from young, born in all the layers of equine color and paints are very popular and colorful horses.

In the year 2008 we introduced to the country 12 copies of the Mini Horse race, in order to reproduce and sell them as pets, all paints and less than 30 inches, certified by the American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA), being delight to young and old people in the latest editions of Agricultural Fairs.

So far, we have imported more than 70 horses copies (male and female) from United States.

In Rancho España we sell high quality horses, always under the command of paint or stain.
